Mental Health & Wellness
A residential retreat to gain the victory over depression and anxiety.
Overview
The Wildwood Mental Health and Wellness program is tailored to address individual mental health needs, emphasizing personal growth and purpose. You will work closely with a mental health counselor to identify specific challenges and develop strategies to navigate the emotions and personal issues that impact your overall well-being. All of it happens on 640 quiet acres in the mountains of northwest Georgia — with daily plant-based meals, comfortable rooms, and a care team that treats the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

FAQs
Got questions? We've got answers — or call Guest Services at 706-419-3883.
Are there any additional fees?
Services beyond the program's allowance — such as vitamin and herbal supplements, special diagnostic procedures, and individualized lab tests — become an additional charge. Call Guest Services at 706-419-3883 for more information.
Does insurance cover the program?
No — Wildwood Lifestyle Center and LifeMed Clinic do not participate with medical insurance plans and cannot submit claims or request reimbursement on your behalf. The Lifestyle Program is a private-pay program, and guests are responsible for the full cost.
Do you have a payment plan?
Yes. We've partnered with Cherry to provide flexible payment plans — a six-month plan with 0% interest, or extended terms with interest. Checking your eligibility will not affect your credit score. Ask Guest Services for details.
How long do I need to stay?
The Mental Health & Wellness program runs 11 or 25 days, depending on your situation. Call Guest Services at 706-419-3883 to talk through which is right for you.
Can I bring my spouse or a relative?
Yes — we encourage participants to come with a companion so you both learn the same things. Companions share your room and join classes, meals, and lodging. If you need a caregiver to help with daily activities, rooms with two full beds and a private restroom are available.
Which airport is closest to Wildwood?
Chattanooga Airport (CHA) is just 30 minutes away, and we offer free pickup for guests arriving there. Atlanta (ATL, about 2 hours) and Nashville (BNA, about 2.5 hours) also work — Groome shuttle service runs from both to Chattanooga, and our shuttle can bring you the rest of the way.
Can non-Adventists come?
Of course! People of all faiths are welcome.
Can I stay somewhere else and attend the program?
Generally no — this is an immersive, residential program. Even so, contact Guest Services at 706-419-3883 about your specific situation.
